English | Deutsch Henriette MüllerBerlin composer, saxophonist and medical doctor Henriette Müller writes contemporary music influenced by jazz for small groups and works for large ensembles and choirs. In 1994, she received a master´s degree from Manhattan School of Music after studying composition with Rich de Rosa and Ludmila Ulehla as well as saxophone with Bob Mintzer, Dick Oatts and others. She also participated as a guest in Hartmut Fladt´s musicology courses at the Universität der Künste in Berlin for several years. She ran her own band in New York (with Jeff Brillinger, Peter Herbert, Ben Allison, Rez Abassi and others) and performed in clubs like the Five Spot and the Knitting Factory.
